Do you want your children to experience an unforgettable adventure this summer? ConcordQuest (CQ) delivers a week of fun and excitement for children ages 5 years old through 7th grade. ConcordQuest is the name of Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Concord. Hundreds of volunteers work together creating a magical experience for every child who enters the doors. From decked out hallways and classrooms to a breathtaking set for their theatrical CQ production – this VBS is unlike anything you have ever seen or experienced.

This year’s CQ is called, “The WayMaker” based on John 14:6, which says, “…I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” The WayMaker is a production featuring video games, robots and impressive on stage explosions. The story line features both good and evil characters in conflict with one another. It uniquely parallels the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, ultimately demonstrating that anyone can have the opportunity to know Jesus in a personal way.

While the extreme artistry and beautiful visuals are impressive, the ultimate goal of CQ is to help children learn to worship, understand the Bible through great teaching, make new friends, but most importantly discover who Jesus is and what he has done on the cross.
